Be sure to remove any snow so that it does not accumulate on your trampoline's bed (and cause the springs to stretch). Depending on the severity of winter winds in your area, you may want to remove the frame pads and store them inside. You can also purchase our trampoline covers to help protect your trampolines when not in use. Is it ok to jump on the trampoline if it's wet? No. A wet trampoline bed (the jumping surface) is too slippery for safe jumping. Also, gusty or severe winds can cause jumpers to lose control. Use the trampoline only under appropriate weather conditions. How many people may jump on a trampoline at one time? Only one person should jump on a trampoline at a time. Jumpers should always be supervised. What do I do if I have a question or a concern regarding a trampoline? Contact our Customer Service Department at 1-732-534-7679. Any of our representatives will be happy to assist you. I'm having some trouble assembling my trampoline. What should I do? Be sure that you have read and are following all directions. Changing the directions will make it difficult or impossible to correctly assemble your trampoline. For a round trampoline, each of the top rails with leg sockets acts as a bridge between two support assemblies (the W-shaped base with leg extensions attached). When attaching the bed to the frame, it is important to keep the spring tension even by using the clockwise procedure with your round trampoline. How much space should I leave around my trampoline? A minimum of 24 feet (7.3 meters) of overhead clearance is required. Adequate horizontal clearance of at least two feet all around the trampoline must be maintained from objects and possible hazards including electric power wiring, tree limbs, recreational structures, and fences. What sizes of trampolines do you sell? We sell many sizes for all ages. Such as 48", 55", 12 foot, 14 foot and 15 foot trampolines. Where can I purchase replacement parts for our Jumpking trampoline? Qualitytoys.com sells many replacement parts for all our Jumpking trampolines. We sell trampoline frames, springs, pads and other accessories. Jumpking Trampoline Recalls It is old news, but some products made years ago by the former owner of JUMPKING were involved in a CPSC Voluntary Recall. This action by the former owner was voluntary and precautionary; no fatalities or serious injuries were ever recorded. JUMPKING was sold to a new owner. They now operate a new factory. Jumpking is the largest trampoline manufacturer in the world. They know a lot about developing and manufacturing trampolines. You should know that the JUMPKING product that you buy today has been completely redeveloped from scratch. All design, engineering, and materials selections have all been thoroughly reviewed and in many cases upgraded. We not only meet all ASTM standards; we exceed them. For more information we invite you to call our Customer Service professionals at 732-534-7679. Instructions for a JumpKing Trampolines Proper and safe use of a trampoline is a great fitness tool, as it boosts heart rate, utilizes multiple muscle groups and provides aerobic exercise. A trampoline should be inspected by the jumper before each session to check for broken springs, missing frame pads, a bent frame or a torn mat. JumpKing Trampolines Safety 1. Frame pads and safety nets are recommended additions to your JumpKing trampolines. Pads are fastened on top of the springs to protect jumpers from landing directly on them. A safety net encloses the trampoline and keeps jumpers from flying off onto the ground. Only one person at a time should jump to better maintain control of jumping height and avoid collisions. The trampoline should not be used if it has any worn, missing or defective parts. Jumpers should use a small ladder for access and be educated about trampoline safety and fully supervised when attempting new moves. Trampolines should not be used while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and young children should not have access to the trampoline while unsupervised. JumpKing Trampolines Assembly 2. Lay out all the parts in a circle. Four blank top rail pieces should alternate with the four top rails that contain leg sockets to form the outermost edge. Lay the eight leg extensions next to the leg sockets. The four leg bases (shaped like Ws) should face outward, toward the leg extensions. With an assistant, assemble the trampoline's base by attaching the leg extensions onto the leg bases. Hold the "W" bases vertically and attach the top rails with sockets to the top end of each "W." Then, attach the four top rails into the rail gaps. Unfold the mat into the center of the trampoline. Attach one spring to the "V" ring in the mat and pull it over to a hole in the top rail. Attach the other end. Do the same on the opposite end of the mat. Choose a "V" ring halfway between your newly attached springs and connect another spring there. Repeat this process on the opposite side with another spring. Continue adding springs in this manner until all of the springs are attached. Be careful with your fingers during this process, as you can easily pinch your skin in the springs, especially as the mat gets tighter. Attach the ladder to the trampoline. Trampoline Skills 3. Basic jumping skills for the JumpKing Trampolines are as follows. Fundamental bounce: The jumper assumes a standing position in the center of the mat. He swings his arms forward and up, keeping his feet a few inches apart during the jump. He lands flat on his feet. Doggie Drop: Start with a Fundametal Bounce. Look down and aim both knees and hands at the mat. Land on the mat with your hands and knees. Bounce back up into a standing position. Seat Drop: Bounce upwards. Bend your legs at the waist and land on the mat with your legs straight out in sitting position. Put your hands flat on the mat at the hips, and push down for assistance in bouncing back up. Swivel Hips: Land in a seat drop position. Bounce upward, throwing your arms up and to one side, while swiveling your hips in the same direction to land in a seat drop on the opposite side of the trampoline. Repeat in the opposite direction.
